Maester Aemon
Maester Aemon, a maester of the Night's Watch, was a second-born prince of the Targaryen dynasty. He was the son of King Maekar I Targaryen and his second wife, Dyanna Dayne. As a young man, he served as squire to his uncle, King Aegon V Targaryen.
After the death of his father and brother, Maester Aemon took the black and joined the Night's Watch. He served as maester at Castle Black for many years and became a respected member of the order. He was known for his wisdom and his devotion to the Night's Watch.
Prince Aemond Targaryen
Prince Aemond Targaryen, also known as Aemond One-Eye, was a prince of the Targaryen dynasty. He was the son of King Viserys I Targaryen and his second wife, Alicent Hightower. He was a skilled swordsman and a powerful dragonrider.
Prince Aemond was a key figure in the Dance of the Dragons, a civil war that tore the Targaryen dynasty apart. He fought on the side of the Greens, who supported his half-brother, Aegon II Targaryen, against the Blacks, who supported his niece, Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Prince Aemond was killed in battle at the Battle of the Gullet. His death was a major turning point in the Dance of the Dragons, and it helped to pave the way for Rhaenyra's eventual victory.
